To all hello! So sorry that this has to be posted in English. I am a volunteer currently working with refugees in Polykastro (near Thesaloniki) and desperately need some help / advice from some dog lovers!
My friend arrived home a few days ago with a small dog which had just been hit by a car. Of course, she could not leave him there to suffer, so we tried to help. We have paid for an operation to mend his broken leg and he is now recovering really well. He is an absolute pleasure to look after ... however we have to go back to the UK in time for Christmas so we are now desperately looking for a loving home for him (we have named him Alfie). I know that this will be a challenge as there are so many dogs that need homes in Greece but we have to try!
He is a small terrier cross and is about 9 months old. He has a very gentle and loving temperament which would make him a very loyal dog for a single owner or a family - they would be lucky to have him! He has had a full health check and has been deflee'd, wormed, neutered and will be vaccinated before going to a home. He is still recovering from his operation but in time his leg should heal completely.
Any help with this at all would be much appreciated! Thank you
